If I do not have a valid CA Boaters Card, where can I obtain one?

If you do not have a valid CA Boaters Card you can visit www.californiaboatercard.com for more information and to apply for your card. It is not a requirement for rental but a recommendation that comes with a 20$ discount if you have a valid card.

Do I need to bring a life vest?

No, life vests are provided by us. Anyone under the age of 16 years old is required by law to wear a life vest at all times on any vessel. If you have one you utilize and want to bring it as long as it’s coast guard approved it’s ok.

What do I need to bring for my rental?

Please be sure to have a valid ID, sunscreen, towels, snacks and/or a cooler for a picnic lunch and beverages. Check the weather and make sure to dress appropriately for your day on the water. Again 20$ discount to everyone with a Ca Boaters Card.

Can I bring my pet along?

Yes, pets are allowed with a small additional fee. Service dogs are free with valid documentation.

Yes, there’s a deposit that varies per vessel that is rented, the hold is taken off of the card or the cash is returned as soon as the vessel is back at the boat ramp and looked over by an employee.

Most of our rentals will be launched out of Redbud Park in Clearlake. For an additional fee we will launch in Clearlake Oaks as well. Our vessels can only be utilized on Clearlake.
